(2025) Introductions

Hello friends!

My name is Pablo Giuliani, I will be the main lecturer during this course. I am very excited to go on this journey with y’all this summer :sun_behind_small_cloud:

I like collaborative research where various folks bring different things to the table. I usually bring something on the lines of math, Bayesian statistics, and machine learning (with some nuclear physics too).

I love teaching and helping people understand concepts in an intuitive way (that’s what started this course!).

I am also into games (civ 7 at the moment), good stories (the Witcher at the moment), good food (Chinese food today, right @Kyle?), and good company (friends, family, and doggie, see below:

)

Hope we have an awesome summer ahead!

Introduce yourselves below so we know each other better :grinning_face:

Hello everybody!

I am Yash Mandlecha, and I will be the graduate assistant for the course this summer.

I work on numerical simulations of quantum field theories, particularly Lattice QCD for my research.

I am very excited to be working with you all and to support your learning throughout the term. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions—whether they’re about the course material, lectures, or general support.

Looking forward to an engaging and fun summer together!
